Qahwa is Arabic Coffee - Made with roasted coffee beans and cardamom. It is widely served across the Middle East and is a staple hot drink amongst the Arabs when breaking their fast.
Unlike normal coffee, which is served in a tall mug, Qahwa is better in small doses (think an espresso size cup) and is best enjoyed with fresh dates. The bitterness of the Qahwa coupled with the sweetness of the dates is an absolute treat for your tastebuds.
How to make it
Simply add the Qahwa mix to boiling water, leave on a medium heat for 30 mins, strain into a flask and serve - it's that easy.
